As Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), we offer financial solutions for corporate and institutional clients in a number of locations globally.
As BNP Paribas CIB in Poland we provide asset and fund services for a number of locations globally, offering tailored financial solutions for corporate and institutional clients, including capital markets issuance, financing, risk management, and hedging.
The International Operations Center (IOC) provides services to investment funds globally. The IOC is also expanding significantly in Krakow and developing its activities already in place in Warsaw.

What is it like to work
in your department?
On a daily basis, we ensure that all outside of the regulated market transactions are true and accurate. Long story short we make sure that the inventors are protected, and the investment managers comply with the market regulations.
Key tasks
in your department:
- Speak with clients based across the globe (Hong Kong, France, Netherlands, UK, US).
- Validate ownership of client assets.
- Work with colleagues in department where more than 50% of them are not Polish and come from all parts of the world.
- Check transactions worth millions of euros.
- There are no copy-paste tasks.
What is it like to work
in your department?
In Fund Accounting we can teach you how to express an Asset Manager’s decisions in one single number – Net Asset Value of Investment Fund. All types of financial instruments accounting and valuation, corporate actions, investigation and analysis, working with partners from all over the world and many more – all in one place in Fund Accounting Department! Join us and we will show you, not just some small part of fund industry, but everything in details from valuation of securities through validation of NAV announced on the market you buy a unit of Investment Fund on!
Key tasks
in your department:
- Speak to many counterparts in Glasgow and learn the Scottish accent while taking part in various calls and online meetings. You will also have a chance to practice other languages like French, Italian or German, too.
- Learn how to calculate the price of Investment Fund.
- Derivates like options would you like to know what they are? How to account for them? Their mechanics and valuation? Give yourself an option and check it out with Fund Accounting!
- Explain and resolve inconsistencies between the funds’ accounting books and cash/securities accounts of these funds.
- Find out how much investment funds earn on managing their investment portfolios!
What is it like to work
in your department?
A great place to start your professional journey! You will have the unique experience of witnessing the whole investment cycle for Hedge Funds. From checking if investors are AML/KYC compliant, to doing deals in TA, and even calculating the value of Hedge Funds, it’s all done under one roof!
Key tasks
in your department:
- AML/KYC compliance checks are key! Help us manage risk and find out who our investors are.
- Prepare Board Dealing Reports for Board of Directors, this allows them to make investment decisions.
- Calculate the value of Hedge Funds investments. Fancy a SWIFT working environment? Experience dynamic cash payments, and where they lead to!

What is it like to work
in your department?
In Fund Dealing Services we make sure all our clients’ orders, to subscribe, redeem, switch or transfer the units of investment funds, are timely placed on the market. We keep in touch with clients, settle their trades, execute payments, investigate complex cases, and support various projects.

in your department:
- Keeping in touch with Clients from across the world.
- Dealing with high value trading orders.
- Managing or supporting multiple projects/initiatives, like automations or implementations.
- Performing various types of investigations related to client trading activities.
- Cooperating with number of other BNP Paribas branches worldwide.
What is it like to work
in your department?
In Private Capital we look after our clients’ assets that are not available on public markets. We speak with Clients directly and review a lot of important documents!
Key tasks
in your department:
- Speak with Clients from Luxembourg, Ireland, or Germany.
- Practice French while speaking with colleagues from the Paris office.
- Develop our key accounting platform.
- Work on task automation.
- Brainstorm process improvement solutions with colleagues.

In Investment Reporting Performance we create and analyse fund performance as well as create Solvency II reporting for our clients.

- Complete investment fund performance analysis.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other parts of the world, including UK, Germany, and France.

What is it like to work
in your department?
Depositary and Fiduciary Services it is like our Police Department we make sure that Asset Managers’ investments are in line with applicable laws and investigate every case of detected potential law breaking, as our job is to check if investment policies or restrictions are being followed.

- Investigating any anomalies or investment breaches detective work on a daily basis!
- Dealing with significant cash flows, monitoring of big amounts of cash, and detecting anything out of the ordinary.

Whistleblowing complaints or irregularities shall be handled by independent experts in a confidential manner and in accordance with the regulations in force.
Whistleblowers are protected against the risk of retaliation as foreseen by applicable local law. Any abuse of the system of reporting an irregularity may expose the person seeking disciplinary action or prosecution.
The responsibilities for the Whistleblowing Channels in BNP Paribas S.A. Branch in Poland are split between Compliance and Human Resources departments depending on the nature of the Alert:
- BNP Paribas CIB Poland ensures the security and integrity of all personal data of the whistleblower and/or targeted person, upon receipt and further processing of the Alert, and also during the time of transferring data for the purpose of conducting explanatory proceedings, and the archiving process after closing the report, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC („GDPR”)
- Whistleblowing alerts are handled by independent experts called whistleblowing referents in a confidential manner and in accordance with the regulations in force. To the extent that collected personal data undergoes data processing, each whistleblowing referent and any other person involved in the processing of the alert, take all precautions needed to ensure the security and integrity of the collected data, during the time of collection and processing of the data and at the time of admissibility analysis and investigation of the case and recordkeeping after the case is closed.
- The controller of the collected and processed personal data is BNP Paribas CIB Poland,having its registered office at 31, Wronia Street, 00-864 Warsaw. All personal data are stored for the period of 3 years, counting from the first day of the year following the year in which the whistleblowing alert was made. After this period, the personal data contained in the report are deleted, with the provision that in the event of a negative verification of Classification: Internal the legitimacy of the report and dismissal of the suspicions contained therein, the BNP Paribas CIB Poland immediately removes the personal data contained in the whistleblowing alert from its systems, leaving them in the systems for a period of 3 years, in accordance with applicable law in this regard, counting from the first day of the year following the year in which the whistleblowing alert was received.
- Whistleblower or a person targeted by the whistleblowing alert have personal data rights to access, change, restrict, object and erase personal data related to the handling of the whistleblowing alert, while maintaining appropriate precautions to ensure that the person to whom the whistleblowing alert relates to, will not have access to the personal data of the reporting person or other data allowing for its effective identification.
