CIB in Poland Means
Pride is a professional network made up of employees who are directly or indirectly concerned with, or simply allied with LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender).
Its goal is to support the better integration of LGBT+ and allied employees, and promote a trustworthy and safe environment without discrimination linked with sexual orientation and gender identity.
Parents and carers network aims to address challenges faced by working parents and carers, support employees integration, create space for sharing experiences, and raise awareness in the organisation.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility network (CSR) is based purely on volunteering. Our employees participate in various initiatives such as “Walk the Dog”, “Back To School”, “Clean Up the World”, “Szlachetna Paczka”, and “Letters To Santa”. As a form of gratitude, they can have two days off in a calendar year for volunteering.
Every Friday we sent CSR News to our employees, so they stay informed and learn about ongoing and upcoming initiatives. We have had 42 volunteers in 2024 so far!
MixCity is a network of exchange for women and men who wish to advance professional equality and create inclusive and open space of work. The main goal of our network is to create inclusive and open space to exchange the ideas regarding equality between women and men and work together on creating an environment with no ”double standards”.
Briefly, we would like to:
- Recognise and reduce gender inequalities,
- Provide an opportunity to discuss issues and challenge ourselves in terms of ”traditional” gender roles,
- Fight traditional gender stereotypes,

The whistleblowing system shared on this page, allows you to report information about a crime or an offence, a threat or harm to the public interest, a violation, or an attempt to conceal a violation of applicable and binding law (laws, regulations, etc.) or a breach of the BNP Paribas Group Code of Conduct.

BNP Paribas S.A. Branch in Poland undertakes to comply strictly with the rules of law and regulation and to enforce the rules laid down in the BNP Paribas Group Code of Conduct.
Whistleblowing complaints or irregularities shall be handled by independent experts in a confidential manner and in accordance with the regulations in force.
Whistleblowers are protected against the risk of retaliation as foreseen by applicable local law. Any abuse of the system of reporting an irregularity may expose the person seeking disciplinary action or prosecution.
The responsibilities for the Whistleblowing Channels in BNP Paribas S.A. Branch in Poland are split between Compliance and Human Resources departments depending on the nature of the Alert:
- BNP Paribas CIB Poland ensures the security and integrity of all personal data of the whistleblower and/or targeted person, upon receipt and further processing of the Alert, and also during the time of transferring data for the purpose of conducting explanatory proceedings, and the archiving process after closing the report, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC („GDPR”)
- Whistleblowing alerts are handled by independent experts called whistleblowing referents in a confidential manner and in accordance with the regulations in force. To the extent that collected personal data undergoes data processing, each whistleblowing referent and any other person involved in the processing of the alert, take all precautions needed to ensure the security and integrity of the collected data, during the time of collection and processing of the data and at the time of admissibility analysis and investigation of the case and recordkeeping after the case is closed.
- The controller of the collected and processed personal data is BNP Paribas CIB Poland,having its registered office at 31, Wronia Street, 00-864 Warsaw. All personal data are stored for the period of 3 years, counting from the first day of the year following the year in which the whistleblowing alert was made. After this period, the personal data contained in the report are deleted, with the provision that in the event of a negative verification of Classification: Internal the legitimacy of the report and dismissal of the suspicions contained therein, the BNP Paribas CIB Poland immediately removes the personal data contained in the whistleblowing alert from its systems, leaving them in the systems for a period of 3 years, in accordance with applicable law in this regard, counting from the first day of the year following the year in which the whistleblowing alert was received.
- Whistleblower or a person targeted by the whistleblowing alert have personal data rights to access, change, restrict, object and erase personal data related to the handling of the whistleblowing alert, while maintaining appropriate precautions to ensure that the person to whom the whistleblowing alert relates to, will not have access to the personal data of the reporting person or other data allowing for its effective identification.
